What audience should Arab startups target? [Poll]

Mohamed Marwen Meddah | July 31, 2008 – 3:48 pm |

A new poll has gone live on StartUpArabia, you can find it on the first sidebar on the right or vote straight from this post.

This poll addresses the question of target audience for Arab startups, and it asks:
What audience should Arab startups target?

Should they go global? Should they concentrate on the region? Or maybe just on Arabs around the world? Or does it depend on what the service they’re actually providing is?

What do you think?

Even though it depends on the service, I beleive Arab startups should target a global audience.

We need to have a gobal mindset and think big : Arabs use facebook, Digg, Delicious and Netvibes to name few. Why should not Americans or French use some day the services of an Arab start-up?

Global until there is enough Arab internet audience to support a commercial service.
