Dubai Internet City To Host Next DemoCamp Dubai On Nov. 24th

DemoCamp DubaiDubai Internet City just announced that it is preparing to host another edition of DemoCamp Dubai, the event enabling tech entrepreneurs, students, professionals and engineers to showcase and launch their new products in front of the tech community, and obtain valuable feedback from a like-minded audience comprising venture capitalists and angel investors.

This next edition of DemoCamp Dubai will be held on November 24th, from 6.30pm – 9.00pm, at Dubai Internet City; probably at the Knowledge Village Auditorium as usual. It is planned to include six demos from entrepreneurs.

Applicants will be screened by a panel of industry experts, including the organisers and business partners of DIC. Shortlisted applicants will be required to demonstrate their product and highlight its market opportunity, stage of corporate development, and identify the competitors. Demonstrations need to convey working software, hardware, network services and other features.

Interested emerging entrepreneurs can submit their projects and demos through the following link: DemoCamp Dubai Submissions.

As usual attendance is open for free for everyone, offering up an opportunity for entrepreneurs, investors, consultants, students, and professionals to get together, see what the latest projects that have been cooking in the region are, meet and network.

To confirm your attendance, just fill in this simple Attendance form.

The organization of these DemoCamp Dubai events by Dubai Internet City is part of the ICT cluster’s ongoing efforts to drive innovation and entrepreneurship in the region. Another example of which is the FirstSteps@DIC Business Center, which allows a large number of startups and SMBs to test the market before committing to establishing a larger foothold in the region.

StartUpArabia will be present to cover the event and review the startups and projects that are showcased in it. Stay tuned.

  1. I don’t think Internet City is really supporting entrepreneurship at the current stage when the rental rate is AED 200 per sqft and shared offices are “apparently” all utilized by registered companies not using these desks!
