DemoCamp Dubai 5 – March 8th 2010 – The Agenda

DemoCamp Dubai 5As previously announced, the fifth DemoCamp Dubai will be taking place today at the Dubai Knowledge Village Auditorium on March 8th 2010 at 6:30PM.

The following six demos will be taking place at the event:

  • Hyzonia.com: a web platform for creating, customizing, publishing games and sending dynamic ads within games, to be played by target audiences.
  • FURNISHMarketplace.com: a web2.0 social B2B network, serving the needs of interior designers, hospitality industry professionals and real estate developers.
  • ShopMidEast: an upcoming online retailer with a big vision to become a comprehensive online retailer.
  • InTheLoop.me: a professional social network focused on the Middle East and North Africa.
  • Mysalbum.com: a service allowing users to create urls for their images and specifying number of views, geo-targeting and timing.
  • Yebab.com: an Arab online wedding services directory catering to the whole wedding industry.

The format will be the same as the previous events, with the presenters giving 10 minute presentations of their work, with 5 minutes for Q&A.

The presenters will also be available to answer any further questions, receive feedback and share some thoughts after the event.

After over a year since its last edition, DemoCamp Dubai is back for its fifth edition, and hoping to be even bigger than its previous editions.

The Dubai-based launch event for new products, technologies and companies will be taking place at the Dubai Knowledge Village Auditorium on March 8th 2010 at 6:30PM.

As usual attendance is open for free for everyone, offering up an opportunity for entrepreneurs, investors, consultants, students, and professionals to get together, see what the latest projects that have been cooking in the region are, meet and network.

Entrepreneurs and developers can join and demo a web application, a piece of software, a tool or anything that is innovative, new and can be demonstrated.
To submit your project to be demonstrated at the event, please fill in this simple form: Demo Submission.
The last date for submissions is February 24th, 2010.

DemoCamp Dubai 2 – The Agenda

As previously announced, the second DemoCamp Dubai will be taking place at the Radisson SAS in Dubai Media City on May 27th at 7:30PM.

The following five demos will be taking place at the event:

  • Darrb: A marketplace for delivery services, it will be presented by its co-founder Murshed (Previously reviewed on StartUpArabia here)
  • Logta: A one-stop-shop on promotions for all sorts of products, to be presented by Hisham Baker
  • Wasfati: The first dedicated Arab portal for food, recipes and nutrition. It will be presented by Fouad Masoud (Previously reviewed here)
  • SwalifCast: An Arab portal for digital learning, to be presented by Mohammed Al-Fares
  • mediaME: A user-generated content website for advertising and media professionals, to be presented by Zeid Nasser.

The format will be the same as the first event, with the presenters giving a 10 minute presentation of their work, with another 5 minutes for Q&A.

The presenters will also be available to answer any further questions, receive feedback and share some thoughts after the event.

DemoCamp Dubai 2 – Radisson SAS, Dubai Media City (May 27th)

DemoCamp DubaiThe second DemoCamp Dubai; the Dubai-based launch event for new products, technologies and companies; will be taking place at the Radisson SAS in Dubai Media City on May 27th at 7:30PM.

It comes only a couple of months after the first DemoCamp in Dubai, but this time around a bigger room was reserved so as to make the event open to everyone, so if you’re interested in attending, you’re more than welcome.

There are already two confirmed demos scheduled for the event, but there are still openings for a couple more; So, if you’re going to be in Dubai around that date, and you are working on an interesting new web application that you would like to present, then just send an email to: contact@spinbits.com or leave a comment on the blog post announcing the event.
